Tava is a company specialized in clay processing. We produce ceramic containers for winemaking. We explored the oenological potential of ceramic by designing containers meant to integrate into the winemaking process with a reliable, consistent, and functional approach. CERAMIC BECOMES A TECHNICAL TOOL INTEGRITY For TAVA, integrity means creating oenological vessels capable of preserving the wine’s unique characteristics, protecting it from any contamination thanks to the purity and resistance of ceramic. FRESHNESS Due to its inert nature, ceramic does not alter the wine and allows for controlled micro-oxygenation, helping preserve andenhance its aromatic profile. IDENTITY The choice to use ceramic reflects the producer’s desire to respect and highlight the unique qualities of their terroir. The ceramic container becomes a precious ally in expressing the identity of the grape variety and the person who cultivates it. Our mission is to promote the culture of ceramic materials in winemaking by exploring their properties and applications. This is why we collaborate with winemakers, universities, and research centers: to understand deeply, continuously improve, and contribute to a vision of wine that respects the raw material in its transformation as well as those who care for it daily.
