The Federation of Independent Winegrowers of Champagne represents nearly 400 members spread across the entire Champagne region.
Its missions are diverse:
- Defending the interests of independent winegrowers with local, national, and European institutions.
- Promoting the recognition of the independent winegrower profession and its unique characteristics.
- Supporting members with technical, legal, economic, regulatory, and administrative aspects related to their activity (viticulture, winemaking, marketing, etc.).
- Providing training to enhance members' skills (oenology, marketing, export, etc.).
- Enhancing the value of the profession and the "Vigneron Indépendant" label, a symbol of authentic artisanal know-how.
- Commercial support for members through professional and public events.
- Promoting wine tourism in the Champagne region.
- Encouraging sustainable viticulture and innovation.
