Description
Thomas Karbowiak is a professor of physical chemistry at the Institut Agro Dijon and
director of the UMR PAM, a research unit dedicated to food and wine sciences.
He conducts research into packaging materials, the preservation of product quality,
and sustainable solutions: bio-based, biodegradable,
active/smart systems and traditional materials such as cork and wood. He is the author of
over 120 international scientific publications.
