A sensor mounted on a straddle tractor,
developed by Vitivisio and distributed by Compas en Champagne, analyzes the color, shape, and density of foliage in real time using deep learning AI. It detects abnormal vines, particularly symptoms of flavescence dorée, and maps the data down to the centimeter. Tested in Champagne in 2024, this tool facilitates health monitoring, vine counting, and harvest estimation.
