The consistent mechanical properties of our corks give winemakers complete peace of mind regarding the risks of dry veins, cork hardening, cork bursting or washers coming loose, and cork sticking... Our corks are also highly regarded for their ability to preserve the purity and freshness of wines, thanks to perfectly controlled oxygen release (Mytik Diam 3, 5 and 10). NEW FOR LATE 2025: Thanks to an optimised desorption process, the LiOX cork releases half as much oxygen during the critical Oxygen Initial Release (OIR) phase as Mytik Diam Classique corks. This upstream control helps to limit the initial oxidative shock associated with the cork and counteract the risk of premature oxidation, whilst maintaining the range’s recognised mechanical performance.
